Harindra Singh pioneered the foundation of one of the country's largest and the only one of its kind entertainment, media, communications conglomerate on Jan 2, 1984 when 'Percept' came into being as a full-fledged advertising agency.
Backed by a Bachelors' in Chemistry, a Diploma in Hotel Management as well as Advertising & Public Relations, from the University of Mumbai, Harindra Singh today, is keenly regarded as one of the thought leaders in the industry.
Having begun his career in 1980 at Interads, one of the leading advertising agencies at that point in time, he went on to start Percept, an entertainment, media and communications empire. The seeds of owning a company one day were sown long before he actually implemented it. It has taken years of sheer hard work, admirable entrepreneurial skills, categorical planning and incredible foresight to place Percept on the pedestal it is today.

Percept Picture Company (PPC). Today, it is one of the leading corporates with a fully integrated value chain offering for film production. Singh's deep understanding of the global audience, genres and markets has led to producing and partnering meaningful, commercially viable cinema products.
Shailendra Singh, a thinker and visionary, has broken barriers and adopted innovative systems and technologies, to expand entertainment markets and improve consumer connect through content. He launched
Percept Talent Management (PTM) which marked a confluence between creating and promoting talent in the media, entertainment space as well as in sports.
An undying spirit, inexhaustible ideas, a fastidious attitude and a great eye for detail are what define the man, Shailendra Singh. His energy is directed towards conceptualizing, planning and strategizing to create innovative content that works.
Shailendra Singh is also an avid sportsperson and actively involved in Percept's Sports Management & Celebrity Marketing companies. He has played a key role in positioning Percept and representing the country in the international arena, be it in the field of sport with 'Laureus' coming to India, or 'Racing the Monsoon', the only Hollywood film to be shot entirely in India with the Percept Picture Company.

Iain Banner is the
Non-Executive Director of Percept Limited. He started off with establishing his own sports marketing company by representing IMG in South Africa, specializing in event creation and execution.

He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Gary Player Design Company, responsible for developing the business for markets outside of the USA. He successfully secured design contracts throughout Europe, Asia and South Africa.
Over the last decade he has held several key management positions in Sponsorship & Brand Execution Strategy as highlighted below:
1994 - 2004: Director of Sponsorship, Richemont International, reporting to the Chairman, based in Cape Town
1994-1998 and London 1999-2004: He specialized in event creation and brand ownership for Companie Financier Richemont AG. This included major international sponsorships in Formula 1, Rugby, Soccer, Golf and Music.
With the Chairman as Founder and Richemont and DaimlerChrysler as Founding Patrons, co-Founded and as CEO developed the Laureus World Sports Awards and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
In 2001, with the Chairman as Founder, co-founded the Dunhill links championship and was the Director of the Championship Committee together with Johann Rupert, Sir Michael Bonallack and Ian Webb
2005-Present: Returned from London to Cape Town and established own consultancy and development Company. With partners acquired the 485 hectare Two Rivers Farm in Franschhoek outside Cape Town from Anglo-American, to develop a private golf club and exclusive lifestyle farm.

Ajay Upadhyay
Ajay Upadhyay is the
Director at Percept Limited. With an MBA in marketing, Ajay began his career as a Marketing Executive in 1986 with Eureka Forbes in Kolkata.

He has since worked in varied industries in fields like Engineering, Consumer Banking, Pharmaceuticals and Advertising.
After 7 years of exposure to consumer marketing and direct sales in companies like Atherton Engineering Company, Maheshwari, Mantri & Company (CA Firm), Citibank NA, Pie Medical (A JV with Pie Medical BV, Netherlands), he joined Percept Advertising in the Client Servicing division.
In the next 9 years he grew in the agency to the rank of Sr. Account Director and was selected to join the Group Corporate Office as Vice President - Strategic Planning and MIS in 2001.
Today, Ajay Upadhyay is responsible for the Corporate Strategic Planning for Percept Limited, by building competencies in new growth areas through start-ups or mergers and acquisitions. He also focuses on building and maintaining strategic partners and key client relationships

R. K. Chaturvedi
R. K. Chaturvedi is the
Non-Executive Director at Percept Limited. R. K. C. is a certified Chartered Accountant (C. A.) with a graduation degree in commerce. He started off his career as an intern at a chartered accountancy firm.

Upon the successful completion of his C. A. degree he joined Universal Cylinders Ltd. as an Accounts Officer. He then moved on to Cranex Ltd. as the Manager, Finance.
Soon afterwards, he joined Percept and has been an integral part in building the foundation for this organization.

Ajay Chandwani is the

Under his able guidance the agency has won innumerable awards in international festivals like London Festival, New York Festival, Montreux Festival, Global, Graphis and Mobius Chicago. Domestic awards in creativity for Percept/H include Abbys, Goa Fest and Ice Awards.
Ajay is also the Chairman of the Abby Awards judging committee and the Joint Secretary of the Advertising Club. He is a Member of the International Advertising Agencies Association.
