A post graduate in Public Relations from Xavier’s Institute of Communications (XIC), Nazneen Karimi has had immense exposure in the Media & Entertainment space and worked with leading entertainment brands such as 360 Degrees (TOI Group) and the UTV Group.

Nazneen launched her career with assignments for P&G at XIC and at Madison PR for Whisper Ultra, DSP Merill Lynch, Britannia Industries Limited and Wintech Computers. While at 360 Degrees and the UTV Group, she had the opportunity to work with huge properties including the Sunsilk Femina Miss India 2003, Mankihchand Filmfare Awards 2002, Bombay Times Party 2002, Filmfare South 2002, Ma Ta Sanman Awards 2002 & 2003, A Times for Heroes Project, War of the DJ’s 2002 and the Eureka 2001 Awards ceremony for CNN. She also worked with United Television under the Television Department and Event Management Department.

Nazneen Karimi joined the Percept Group in 2003 and apart from handling a diverse portfolio spanning media and entertainment events, she also managed various events for leading corporates such as Citibank, Maybelline, Radio Mirchi, Economic Times, HSBC, Brand Equity Quiz, Hyundai, Vodafone, Jeep, Eureka Forbes, Hamleys, KTM, Jaguar Land Rover, Essel Group, Forbes, Havells, Glenmark, Volkswagen, DBS and SBI. Her natural ease at handling artistes, content creation for projects, promotions and launch conceptualisations, and ability to execute phenomenal ground level events gave her a wide range of exposure to the events and activations arena.

As President (Experiential Marketing), Percept One, Nazneen is responsible for bringing in a more synergistic and focused approach to the burgeoning Experiential business pan India, inclusive of strengthening and consolidating the Activations, MICE and ICE business in all existing markets, identifying new business opportunities and scaling up the business in new geographies, expanding the portfolio of service and solution offerings to clients in the Experiential domain, inclusive of innovative concepts and complete value for money. She is also responsible for building, leading and providing strategic guidance to Percept ICE, Percept MICE and Percept Activ to ensure Percept’s leadership position in the Activations and MICE domain in India.

A sports enthusiast with a passion for Badminton, she has received many national accolades for her outstanding achievements in the sports arena.
