‘Champions of the World’, a Percept Intellectual Property, revolutionized a new global concept in entertainment. This concept aimed at bringing together under one roof the most celebrated super-icons in the arena of Sports, Cinema, Music, Business and other fields of Entertainment and Entrepreneurship.
The first edition of this iconic property was launched under the genre of Cricket when six former captains of World Cup winning cricket teams viz. Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Arjuna Ranatunga, Clive Lloyd, Steve Waugh and Allan Border were roped together by Idea Cellular for an extensive marketing campaign for ICC World Cup 2011. A 360-degree campaign supported the concept which echoed the message 'Keep Cricket Clean' across the cricketing world.
Future editions of ‘Champions of the World’ will witness legendary names in the Entertainment, Sports and Business world coming together united in a common message and cause.
