Percept Limited unveiled an All India campaign called “Go for Gold” – a historic crusade to awaken every Indian to the promise that lies in our athletes as they strive to put India on the world map at the 2012 Olympics. The campaign will appeal to every citizen of this country to come together and wish our Olympic Squad to give their very best and bring in the biggest accolades to our nation.
At the Press Conference held on 26 July 2011 in Mumbai launching the campaign, Mr. Ninad Shah, Chief Manager – Strategy Sponsorship, IP, PS&E welcomed the media and introduced Mr. Shailendra Singh, JMD, Percept Limited. He further introduced the concept of ‘Go for Gold’. Mr. Mohit Bhagchandani, Head Sports, PS&E took the media through the ‘Go for Gold’ presentation and AV and handed over the dais to Mr. Singh.
Mr. Shailendra Singh addressed the media and elaborated on the concept and vitality of the ‘Go for Gold’ campaign. He further introduced 4 sporting luminaries viz. Vikas Krishan (Boxing), Bajrang Lal Takhar (Rowing), Sharath Kamal (Table Tennis) and Madhurika Patkar (Table Tennis) and unveiled the Torch and Medals. Percept, through this initiative, will highlight the incredible potential that the Olympic holds for an emerging economic powerhouse like India.
The company is also planning to launch Merchandise, Olympic medals, an Anthem, a Torch run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Concerts with Top Bollywood artists, Athletes walking the ramp at a high profile Fashion Show, Tourism and Fan Parks as a part of the GFG Campaign in the year ahead.. A percentage of the consumer sales will go to the Athletes Welfare Fund.

Diesel Underground and Sunburn Jams up in Mumbai
In a unique celebration that marked the communion of fashion and music, Diesel, the fashion iconic brand jammed up with Sunburn - Asia’s Premiere Electronic Dance Music Festival. The thrilling event organised by Diesel, in association with Percept, took place on July 6, 2011 at the Diesel Store, Juhu, Mumbai from 9:00 pm onwards. Diesel kicked off its end-of-season sale in high spirits with a night of foot tapping music and an exclusive shopping experience.
The evening brought together like-minded and beautiful people, and mixed edgy fashion with a dose of heady music. The electrifying atmosphere was further elevated by DJ B.R.E.E.D, who transported the guests into the world of Drum, Bass & Dubstep with his exhilarating performance. Nikhil Chinappa, Shibani Kashyab, Siddharth Kanan, Shonal Rawat Shweta Salve, Shweta Bhardwaj and other celebrities graced the evening, enjoying the captivating communion as music and fashion took a new flight of liberation.
