Saturday night circus fever!
“Life is a circus where the spirit does not die… the show must go on” — said Percept as it commemorated and celebrated 25 years of the journey called Percept. Saturday night fever took over as Guests from all across the world arrived at the Grand Hyatt on the evening of 18 July and handed over their fluorescent multi-coloured tickets at the entrance to enter into the ‘Party of the Year’! Dancing girls and contortionists flashed before their eyes, stilt-walkers, acrobats and jugglers floated around, but the biggest buzz, of course, was the throng of Guests waiting for all the action to unfold inside the ballroom. From the corporati to the chatterati, they were all there, catching up with old friends and making some new ones. |

The applause was deafening as the Percept team performed live, and helping them in their jhatkas were Shveta Salve, Anusha Dandekar and Neha Dhupia. Cyrus Sahukar, Cyrus Broacha and Suresh Menon did a hilarious take on Harindra & Shailendra Singh in the “Semi Girebaal Show”. Shaan and Adnan Sami’s musical performances had the crowds swooning while Sreesanth and Neil Nitin Mukesh rocked the stage with their electrifying dance performances.
The entertainment evening deservedly wound up with a surprise and impromptu jig by Kapil Dev with Shailendra Singh, even as the crowd cheered on.
The Percept Excellence Awards were given away to the deserving Percept professionals during the course of the evening.

Later, it was time to move and groove to the beat as Nikhil Chinappa spun his magic. While there was a flood of people grooving on the dance floor, there was also an abundance of crowd at the dinner section with live food stations serving the best of Indian and international cuisine. Yes, eat, drink and be merry was the whole idea.
Adding to the glam quotient were Mugdha Ghodse, Koena Mitra, Sophie Choudry, Achala Sachdev, Sonali Bendre, Mandira Bedi, Anupama Verma, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani, Rohit Roy, Jaaved Jaffery, Ashish Choudhury and Chunky Pandey while David Dhavan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ken Ghosh, Ajay Jadeja, Yuvraj Singh, Bunty Walia, Sammir Dattani and ATS Chief K P Raghuvanshi created a buzz at this mega celebration bash. |
