Percept rewards & recognizes at the gala Sunburn Awards Party
After setting ablaze the Goan sands with the magic of Sunburn, Percept decided to celebrate and recognize the efforts of Perceptites who worked round the clock to make Sunburn 2011 a huge success. The awards night was organised by Percept on January 16, 2011 at Blue Frog from 7:30 pm onwards.
The entire Percept Group came together to acknowledge and celebrate each other’s dedication and commitment in making Sunburn Asia’s premier electronic dance music festival. Each one who contributed to Sunburn, in any way, big or small, took back something on the gala evening. Mr. Harindra Singh and Mr. Shailendra Singh inspired and appreciated team Percept and gave away awards & accolades to those who stood out and led the Sunburn teams through 2011. Mrs. Saroj Singh, who has seen all the five editions of the Sunburn applauded the efforts that went into making the 5th edition of Sunburn such a massive success. This year, Sunburn saw over a 100,000 guests attending the festival which had 7 stages and over 110 DJ’s playing during the course of 3 days. Over 150 Perceptites across all the Group Companies took back fond memories from an evening to remember for a lifetime.

Percept’s Allied Media bags two trophies at the Golden Mikes Awards 2011
Allied Media recently won two prestigious trophies at the Golden Mikes Awards 2011. This esteemed award function was organized by the E4M Group on December 19th, 2011 in Mumbai. The Golden Mikes Awards celebrate the very best of radio advertising on stations across India and acknowledge the contribution of advertising agencies, media agencies, clients, radio stations, production houses and others to the growth of the medium in the country. Allied Media won two prominent awards across 2 categories for the client Future Group:
Best On-Ground Promotion for a Client (for Multiple Stations) : Fashion @Big Bazaar: RJ Cricket Day - SILVER
Best Use of Sponsorship : Big Bazaar – Family No.1 - BRONZE
The objective of strategizing & executing the Silver winning activity was to maximize sales for the ICC merchandise available at Big Bazaar. Radio was chosen as the Lead Media to promote the merchandise with added support from in the first time ever created ‘RJ Cricket Day’. The Captain RJ’s formed their 11 member team from the fan photos wearing ICC merchandise. All the happenings were relayed on the fan page and heavily promoted by their participation and peer RJ’s on air every hour, creating a high decibel launch and ultimately meeting the client’s objective.Another activity which
made Allied Media a proudowner of the Bronze award was to sustain a long term presence on radio for Big Bazaar. Big Bazaar in association with Radio One presented the most ambitious property ‘Family No.1’ on radio with the leading RJ Prachi in the evening slot. While radio promotions lead the promotion plan, the property was also promoted heavily on outdoor and print media creating heavy impact through cross media promotion.

Percept organizes the ‘Go for Gold Torch Relay’ to support London Olympics 2012
‘Go for Gold’ – a Percept property presented by Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd is a movement which will drive a nation’s Olympic medal desire. The campaign is the first of its kind movement to encourage every Indian sportsman taking part in the Olympics 2012. In order to give them the emotional support they need, this historic crusade is a drive to awaken every Indian to the promise that lies in our athletes as they strive to put India on the world map at the 2012 Olympics.
The Relay Torch which will flag off from Jammu & Srinagar on 10 February, 2012 was unveiled on 20 January, 2012 by Shree Ajay Maken, Honorable Sports Minister of India, Mr. Sandeep Jajodia, Executive Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint MD, Percept Limited, and Mr. Kapil Dev, former Indian cricket team captain. The torch will travel across 50 cities including Patiala / Chandigarh, Jaipur, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Kolkata, Shillong, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, and Kanyakumari under the auspices of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). The run will be joined by local and prominent athletes in its impressive journey, and return back to New Delhi on 30 May, 2012. The objective was to pledge the country’s support for athletes who will attempt to put India on the world map in the forthcoming Olympics. Go for Gold will be an appeal to every citizen of this country to come together and wish our Olympic Squad to give their very best and bring in the biggest accolades for our nation at the 2012 Olympics in London.

IBD’s One Team, One Dream Mantra through Integrate, Bond, Delight
Organizes a ‘Think Tank Meeting’ to celebrate its Anniversary on 14 January, 2012
Sankranti is an auspicious day for every Indian and this year it was special for IBD India, not only because it was their Annual Day, but more so because IBD celebrated its annual day with its biggest asset - ‘Its People’ at the one day ‘Think Tank Meeting’ held in Mumbai.
Celebrating the success Rahul Gupta, MD & CEO, IBD India Pvt. Ltd. said, “It’s been a fascinating journey for the last 5 years and this year, the idea was to get people to come together and integrate, bond and create the delight for IBD.”
The Think Tank involved members from all disciplines including Servicing, Planning and Creative. The agenda was two-fold – Integrate and bond across geographies, and to come together as ‘One Team’ to plan, create, mould and sculpt Brand IBD’s way forward and experience the sheer delight of being a stakeholder and fulfill the ‘One Dream” objective.The day started at 10.00 am, and the proceedings were hectic and intense. A situational analysis was executed as to what worked and what can work better in future. From highlights to upping the creative ante to sharing the best practices to a seamless networking, all IBD stakeholders, mulled, interacted and strategized on how to make IBD the most admired agency.

Flowers, greeting cards and cakes were presented to Rahul Gupta & Team IBD to congratulate and celebrate the special Anniversary occasion. The venue was the super cool IBD Terrace. Joining the occasion was Mr. Harindra Singh, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Percept Limited, who cut the cake along with Rahul Gupta to kick-start the celebrations. The evening rocked even as team IBD partied till the wee hours.

Entertainment moghul Harvey Goldsmith visits India and Percept
Harvey Goldsmith, the legendary British performing arts promoter and his wife Diana visited India recently to discuss business opportunities in the entertainment and media sector with Shailendra Singh. The meeting took place over a relaxed lunch at Bombay Gymkhana on Saturday, 28 January, 2012.
The discussions veered around current and innovative trends prevalent in the entertainment arena, both in India and across the United Kingdom. Both parties identified opportunities that could be explored between the two countries going forward. Aditya Motwane and Ninad Shah from Percept Sports & Entertainment were also present during the meeting.
Later that evening Harvey Goldsmith and Diana were invited to Shailendra Singh’s residence for a gala dinner organised by his wife Nayana Singh and Shailendra Singh himself. Harindra Singh, Karan Singh, Aditya Motwane, Joji George & spouse were also present for the gala soiree.
