Sunburn Goa 2010 in association with SJ XXX energy drink and Gitanjali lifestyle’ kicked off at Blue Frog, Mumbai on 3 December, 2010 with the launch of the Tuborg Sunburn Anthem Tour along with the much anticipated results of the Tuborg Sunburn Anthem Contest.
The night was headlined by internationally renowned producer and composer Brian Transeau a.k.a BT. Present at the party along with the winners of the Tuborg Sunburn Anthem Contest were prominent electronic artists Nikhil Chinappa, and Elsie Nanji who also acted as jury members to the Anthem contest.
The Tuborg Sunburn and Video Contest was an extraordinary opportunity for young musicians and VJ’s in India to show off their talent and rub shoulders with the world’s best artists and put them on the world stage. Audio winners stood a chance to be featured on the Tuborg Sunburn Anthem Compilation and attain an opportunity to perform at the Sunburn Stage at the festival in Goa along with renowned artists from across the globe. The winner of the video category would win a chance to curate the new experimental stage at Tuborg Fun Starter Nights.
The first leg of the three city Tuborg Sunburn Anthem Remix Tour started off in grand style with live acts by DJ’s including BT, Nikhil Chinnapa and DJ Pearl .The tour which had LIVE acts from top Indian and international DJ’s, kick-started at Blue Frog, Mumbai on 3 December, proceeded to Pebbles in Bengaluru on 4 December and the Stone Water Grill in Pune on 5 December.

The festival unveiled its venue, complete with a new look, exciting attractions & A-one Security Provision
Sunburn officially unveiled its venue at Goa’s Candolim beach on 26 December 2010, to showcase a brand new look complete with four stages, facilities for rock climbing, beach volleyball, a VIP lounge, a dress up lounge & a sunset lounge. The venue was unveiled by Mr. Harindra Singh, Vice Chairman & MD, Percept Ltd, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Jt. MD, Percept Ltd, accompanied by MLA Agnel Fernandes, and Mr. Devraj Sanyal, CEO, Percept Sports & Entertainment.
The many new features included a world class security arrangement spanning 32 CCTV cameras; a two level manned security, sniffer dogs, narcotic patrol officers, an emergency medical team equipped with a mini clinic, an onsite medical team, several medical consultants, 6 emergency exits & 4 watch towers! The event also had a first of its kind Disaster Management Team in case of an emergency.
The Sunburn Merchandise was also launched, comprising a range of t-shirts, towels, flip flops, key chains, mobile covers, pens, buttons (badges), bags, caps, mobile chargers, laser glasses and rings.. This is Percept’s first foray into expanding the brand Sunburn into the lifestyle & retail space.

The 4th Sunburn Goa, 2010 kicked off its first day in grand fashion. On 27 December, Percept kept its promise and took the Sunburn Experience to the next level by kicking off with Kimi, Baba Robijn, Inferno, Phi Degrees, Albin Myers, B.R.E.E.D., DJ Sashanti, DJ Ajit, Riktam & Bansi, Richard Durand & Feeatmah. Grammy award nominee Nadia Ali who performed live with Sultan & Ned Shepherd entranced the grooving masses to “Love Story” which is the Sunburn Anthem this year. The Festival goers could not get enough of the sensational electronic dance music and were heard screaming for more!
Sunburn Goa 2010 will be back for its fourth edition at Candolim Beach, Goa, from 27-29 December 2010. With less than ten weeks to go, enthusiastic Electronic Music fans have already started planning out their schedules to visit Goa to attend Sunburn. Sunburn Goa 2010 also followed a policy of Zero Tolerance – ‘Say NO to Drugs’. With thousands of fans converging at Sunburn Goa 2010, the Sunburn team in collaboration with the Goan Police took all necessary precautions to ensure that the festival remained drug free and that all visitors have a safe and secure time at the festival.
Grammy Nominee & World’s No. 10 DJ Axwell Charge up Day 2 at Sunburn
Sunburn fever hit a new high on Day two at Sunburn 2010 as Grammy Nominee & World’s No. 10 DJ Axwell took the stage to dazzle the crowd of over 10,000 gathered at Goa’s Candolim beach. The festival was also streamed LIVE across 82 countries reaching an audience of 150,000.
Kick-starting Day 2 were Vipul Angarish, Johnny Deep & Mash followed by a host of top performers including Lost Stories, Anil Chawla & Dale Anderson, Tuhin Mehta, Clement D'Souza, Aly & Fila, Jalabee Cartel, Aly & Fila / Protoculture Live, Reggae Rajahs , URI , Vachan Chinnappa, Axwell and Ma Faiza.

Grammy Winner & World No. 6 DJ Paul Van Dyk alongwith Ferry Corsten drive crowds into a frenzy as Sunburn 2010 came to a climax
Sunburn 2010 came to an electrifying close on 29 December as the world’s number 9 DJ Ferry Corsten entranced the crowd with a sublime set of tracks whose beauty could only be outdone by the fireworks that covered the Candolim skyline.
Just hours before, the crowd which was over 25,000 strong, witnessed Grammy winner and World’s No. 6 DJ Paul Van Dyk set the Sunburn stage on fire with one of the best sets at the festival this year. The festival was streamed LIVE across 82 countries reaching an audience over 500,000 viewers.

Over 30,000 fans from across the world attended the 3 day musical extravaganza at Goa.
Percept’s Corporate HR embarked upon an interesting and CSR oriented drive titled ‘Sparkles’ to celebrate the week of Christmas. The excitement kick started with innovative teaser campaigns in the first fortnight of December 2010. ‘Sparkles’ involved all Perceptites in Mumbai with a wide variety of themed competitions and surprises galore through the week of Christmas.
The celebrations included a spirited Christmas competition, themed dress codes for four days that ranged from ‘Back to School’; ‘Weird n Wacky’ clothes; ‘Retro Day- Back to the 70’s and 80’s’ theme; and ‘Xmas Colours of White, Red and Green’. Sparkles culminated with an evening of snacks atop the P2 Terrace to herald the festive season.
‘Sparkles’ also invited Perceptites to dedicate one day to social service activities. Perceptites were given an opportunity to donate clothes, groceries, toys and books to the NGO ‘Anand Niketan’ (King George V Memorial). This activity drew phenomenal participation from all Mumbai Perceptites.
