Percept reveals the first look of ‘Sunburn Chopper’
Percept Limited planed to launch ‘Sunburn Chopper’ Chopper’ for the first look of the mean machine at the 5th edition of Sunburn Goa 2011 - Asia’s biggest electronic dance music festival. A Press Conference was held on December 6,2011 at the P2, Mumbai to announce the grand launch. Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited addressed media and welcomed, the famous bollywood diva, Neha Dhupia to unveil Sunburn Chopper. Priced at Rs. 8 Lakhs, ‘Sunburn Chopper’ is an exclusive machine with bold contemporary styling, top of the line engineering and features that will make every sunburn fan want to own one of these bikes. The Sunburn Chopper has been carefully hand crafted to reflect the style, attitude and class of the sunburn festival. The massive 300mm rear tyre is the largest ever to hit Indian roads. The sheer size of the Chopper reflects the scale of Sunburn Festival. Front and rear custom cnc cut alloy wheels add a distinct style quotient to the bike, making it stand out bold. Designed by Vardenchi, the 300 swing arm with hidden shocks and belt drive showcase a state of the art engineering prowess. As the bike started, Triple HID headlamp with Neon angel eyes, LED Handlebar end lights and neon tail lamp spawn the Sunburn fever upon all Sunburn enthusiasts. The media present at the launch was awestruck with the ultra premium finish midnight black paint job, super bright cosmetic chrome and Airbrushed graphic Sunburn logos on the bike. Sunburn presents for the first time the Avicii India Tour
With over 6000 footfalls at the Turf Club on 18 December, 2011, the Sunburn Avicii India Tour entered Mumbai with a bang. Spinning the baddest tunes, Avicci started his set with his amazing hit track "Fade into Darkness"!!
Barely 10 days before Sunburn hits the shores of Goa, Tim Bergling aka Avicii - the world’s youngest DJ and Grammy Nominee was in India to introduce a new concept by Percept called Arena Gigs. Mumbai Experienced phenomenal “LEVELS” of excitement with Avicii and Sunburn at the first-ever Arena Gig in India. The three city tour began with Delhi on 15 December 2011, which was followed by his electrifying performances in Mumbai on the 18 December 2011, giving music lovers a taste of electronic music. It was a phenomenal evening with eclectic mixes where all music fans came together in a single stroke of the hour and grooved at the high octane performance. The highlights of the evening were the neon light performances and the crowd going insane Sunburn style. Avicii performanced some of his powerful electro numbers like ‘Seek Bromance’, ‘My Feelings for You’ and ‘Sunshine’ that sent the crowd of over 2000 into frenzy. Percept India brought down the concept of Arena gigs to India for the first time in a special Sunburn tour. An Arena is usually a crowd capacity of a large audience, depending on structure of the Arena. The versatile venue had an intimate feel where all visitors were treated to fantastic stage views allowing them to enjoy the ultimate entertainment experience. As it such
a huge area it gives room for a lot of creativity production and technology wise, with lasers, lights, sound, stage which gave the audiences the ultimate music and entertainment experience

Goa River Marathon officially welcomes the 5th edition of Sunburn 2011 to Goa!
Sunburn 2011 Goa River Marathon kick-started officially on 11 December 2011 at 6:00 am sharp. The 21 km Marathon was held with about 700 participants from all over India and 14 different countries. This was further followed by a 5km Fun Walk-Run that started on 11 December 2011 at 09:00 A.M. sharp. The Marathon started at Baina beach, Vasco, went through Vasco city along the Zuari River and just before the Cortalim, the participants turned back to the starting point. The 5km Fun Walk run was organized for the participants who were running for charity where they could run or walk and raise money for 2 credible charities. There was also a corporate rally where Corporates sent a five member teams to compete.
For the participants of the half marathon, there were live bands playing to motivate them while they ran for Goa. Local goan brass bands performed for the participants while the Sunburn festival provided 2 of their best DJ’s to support the spirit of Goa.

A Christmas Tree’t for Perceptites
The year 2011 at Percept witnessed an early Christmas as Perceptites came together to set up a gigantic 15-foot Xmas Tree at the P2 lobby, Mumbai.
The gigantic tree which was put up in just about 48 hrs was decorated with thousands of ornaments, lights, glitter, gifts and mementos. Perceptites from across the group (Mumbai offices only) took active participation in decorating the tree while the photographs were clicked to capture these happy and precious moments. As Perceptites stood back to witness the beauty and glory of their special Xmas tree, the smiles, joy and hope in their faces said it all. Christmas Sparkles at Percept!
This festive season Perceptites came together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas by celebrating Christmas Sparkles 2011.The four day long celebration started with an office decoration competition, where a team of 5 members from each group company had to scramble their heads to decorate the reception area in the most innovative way. The second day was the Hawaiian theme and Perceptites competed amongst themselves for the Best Dressed Competition. An exciting Treasure Hunt organised across various locations at Raghuvanshi, combined with other on-the-spot fun activities added to the festive flavour. The Festivities also witnessed ‘Bollywood Ishtyle’ Dress Competitions followed by delicious snacks, games and music at the P2 Terrace in Mumbai.
A variety of fun spot games like blow the balloon, tail the donkey, find the coin in the flour, biscuit eating and sipping the bean were also organised. Perceptites also took part in other fun activities like Chilly in the Bottle race and Paper Dance. Santa Clause also visited Percept and spread joy and happiness by distributing sweet goodies. Perceptites also came forward to contribute and support the NGO Anand Niketan.

Sunburn Goa 2011’s 5th edition turns out to be an ultimate EDM masterpiece!
Sunburn 2011- Asia’s premiere Electronic Dance Music Festival hosted in Goa for the 5th year kick-started from 27 December and commenced on 29 December, 2011. The 3 day festival gave the world the ultimate lifestyle experience. At a Press conference, the Lucera-Sunburn Trophy was launched as a stunning, stylized rendition of the ‘Circle of Life’ where an elegant Sunburn logo rests at the core of the Circle, reflecting freshness, vibrancy, youthfulness and vigour. Sunburn also announced the launch of the Sunburn Official anthem to reveal the song that reflects the ultimate lifestyle vibe of the festival, the artists line up, the limited edition of Sunburn Chopper bike created by Vardenchi and the 7 different stages along with the concept behind each. The stage size of the 5th edition Sunburn was spread across twice the size of the area utilized last year along with various safety, security and CSR measures. Another major focus for Sunburn this year was to engage with its consumers on the digital medium, where it took its brand associations to the online platform to create unique yet innovate platforms to engage with fans across the globe.
The three days of sun, fun and out-of-the-world electronic dance music came to an electrifying finale as Day 3 of Sunburn spread its magic over 90,000 EDM fans from across the globe. With the world’s best DJs like Axwell, AlbinMyers, Moguai, Infected Mushroom, Markus Schulz, Marco V, Funkagenda, the blazing sun and the unique Sunburn
vibe, everybody had an experience that they will never forget! Sunburn this year was a whirlwind for all EDM fans as Day 3 witnessed the most heavy line-up of stars! The Cubezoid stage was the pick of the night as it came alive with the magic of Funkagenda, and the much-awaited Axwell enhanced the impact with fantastic 4D mapping technology. People were spoilt for choice as John 00 Fleming, Mad Maxx and Infected Mushroom released some amazing energy at the Illa stage with the funky caterpillar. The Muah stage was blessed with the divine tunes of Moguai & Albin Myers. The super-cool Coollu stage witnessed the magic of Trance Gods Marco V and Markus Schulz. A lot of fresh talent was also seen on Day 3, including V- Society, Arnold from Mumbai, Ankytrixx, and many more. The entire event was a grand success as people grooved to the best in electronic music, and enjoyed the ultimate lifestyle experience courtesy Sunburn! Along with the magnificent Sunburn music resounding on the beaches of Candolim, Sunburn enthusiasts saw a lot of unique activities, like the ‘Get Hitched’ contest where the lucky couple Rohan Argekar and Chandani Singh got to exchange vows amidst the Sunburn vibe in front of thousands of people! Along with that, the Sunburn Chopper, which was being built live by the Vardenchi boys at the venue, was completed to showcase the fabulous machine! Sunburn also had a “Lights Out” moment in the evening, which was done on all 3 days to unite all Sunburn fans in the cause to support electricity conservation. This was part of Sunburn’s “Leave no Trace” initiative, which will also take the initiative to clean up the venue and leave it just as they found it.

Felicitating Perceptites at the Long Service Awards Ceremony
Pursuant to the objective of recognizing and rewarding ‘Loyalty and Commitment’ of Perceptites, the ‘Long Service Awards’ were handed out across the Percept Group Companies and Corporate office on the occasion of Percept’s 28th Anniversary Celebrations in January. Congratulating Perceptites who had completed the prolific milestones of 5, 10 and 15 years of service, the Senior Management felicitated employees with personalised letters and mementos. 25 employees across the Percept Group received the prestigious Long Service Award.
Completing the milestone of 15 years in the organization was Inder Dev Modi, Percept/H, who expressed his gratitude towards the company on receiving their award.
Perceptites who had completed a fruitful decade with the Percept Group and rewarded for their outstanding contribution to the Group included Dalip Singh Dev and Jitender Rajvansh from Percept/H; R Bhaskar of Allied Media; Shweta Brijesh Solkar of Finserve; and Veera D'Souza from Percept Limited.
