Most of us have tasted our fair share of wines, but as with any interesting subject, knowing a bit more about it – its variety, flavour, age, colour, terminology, and other subtle details of the art and science of wine making would translate into a better appreciation of that drink in your glass! In this attempt the UB group and Tulleeho along with Corporate HR hosted the wine tasting workshop for Perceptites on Friday, 11 June at the P2 Terrace, Mumbai.
The 90 minute journey of discovery into a fascinating world of wines, illustrated the principal characteristics of wine, and showcased the illuminating contrasts of flavour, quality and style. By drawing attention to these individual characteristics, Perceptites discovered what to expect from different types of wine and therefore how to appreciate them better.
India, a country fairly novel to wine drinking, is suddenly witnessing a rapid growth in people who have started enjoying and experimenting with a glass of wine. And thanks to this interesting workshop, Percept can now boast of its fair share of wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs!

I learnt something or the other from each one of them which made me improve not only as a photographer but as a human being too. This is an exchange of dialogue and emotions with them through the lens of my camera and hence I thought it appropriate to pen it down in my mother tongue, Marathi”.
