Ajay Gulati

India’s Youngest Artist who holds the record
of the most number of international Solo
exhibitions, and is represented by Percept,
discusses the concept behind his latest work:
“Flower of Light”

Ajay Gulati gives insight into his latest artwork - “The Flower of Light”

“I firmly believe that the gap between what we want and what we have can never be reduced by fulfilling our desires, or by suppressing them. This gap can only be closed by an increase in consciousness and by the shedding of fears.

Even any sincere effort and attempt to improve the world within and around us are futile without a deeper understanding of the self. Feeding the poor does not reduce poverty. Just by planting more trees we cannot make a greener planet. Our peace and real progress are impossible unless and until there is an individual and collective consciousness that has an urge to improve itself.”
- A.G.

This is the realization that has fuelled this artist’s drive to create. Seeking to align himself with a higher power and conrbute to a better world, Ajay Gulati has understood that the well being of his own mind, body and soul is his worthiest contribution to the health and harmony of his planet.

Since his very first exhibition at the Windsor Manor Shertaon in Bangalore in 1994, Ajay’s creative expression has hinged on a discipline that allows him to absorb the essence of his inner wellbeing and open a channel to communicate that understanding and inspire others. As an experience, his work is a visual instrument of affirmations towards self realization and awakening. As the light of individual inner-wellbeings swell, it shines to make a brighter world around all of us.

Most artists move from the physical into the abstract. Ajay Gulati travels the reverse path, moving from the abstract and into the phyiscal. The inherent meditative nature of his ‘Sculpture on Canvas’ technique, leads him to deeper understandings of matter and energy. His current collection focuses on the reprogramming of matter at a molecular level, through individual affrimations. Simply stated, the energies that an individual realeases into the world, has the ability to change the very building blocks of matter itself.

“The excitement of discoveries through my work, inspired me to do more research into molecular reprogramming and led me to the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto.” -A.G.

Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Doctor of Alternative Medicine, has gained worldwide acclaim through his groundbreaking research and discovery that water is deeply connected to our individual and collective consciousness. Sr. Emoto has been visually documenting these molecular changes by freezing droplets of water and examining them under a dark field microscope that has photographic capabilities.

The comparative results are stunning. As assumed, water from clear mountain springs had beautifully formed crystalline structures, while the crystals of polluted or stagnant water were deformed and distorted. More surprisingly, is that when the words "Thank You" were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach's "Goldberg Variations"- music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for. When water samples were bombarded with heavy metal music or labeled with negative words, or when negative thoughts and emotions were focused intentionally upon them, such as "Adolf Hitler", the water did not form crystals at all and displayed chaotic, fragmented structures.

Masaru Emoto's photographs show us that whatever we think and do, individually and collectively, affects physical objects that surround us. When we fear failure, our surroundings shift to make failure more likely. When we love our own bodies, they respond with strength and good health.

“Flower of Light”

Built upon the groundbreaking research of Dr Emoto, Ajay Gulati takes the research to the next step. He is creating a work of art that channels and transforms these energies to raise the consciousness of the viewer, through one of the most highly advanced crystalline structures on the planet – diamonds. Already used in the mechanics of technology and engineering, we are still discovering the full potential of the diamond.

Ajay Gulati’s latest collection pushes the boundaries to explore diamonds as tools for conscious and sub-conscious awakening and healing. The first piece, “Flower of Light” is an installation of approximately 7700 high quality diamonds, harmonically programmed through an ancient Vedic technique. The diamonds form a sacred geometric mandala, embedded into a heavy alloy metal plate, 6mm thick and weighing approximately 25 kgs. The metal alloy used as the base for the diamond installation has high conductivity and profound electromagnetic properties.

Sacred Geometry is more basic energy form of the universe. From the structure of atoms, molecules and  threads of DNA, to the galactic expanse of the stars, the universe is ever emerging by the principles of sacred geometry. The Flower of Light is a work of art designed to be an instrument that magnetically cleanses and activates our energies and vibrations towards the spirit essence of Light.

The Flower of Light is a cosmic mirror.
The Flower of Light is an Inter-Dimensional Portal.
The Flower of Light is an instrument of Healing and elevating consciousness.
