Slowdown or no slowdown, Allied Media is gung-ho about its growth,
following its accomplishments in the last quarter. The agency has
added business worth over Rs 460 crore in the last quarter. Recently,
Allied Media has added media businesses of No Marks, Panasonic and
Future Group. Allied has also been empanelled on the business for
BSNL.

Percept
partners with CPAA for Cancer Awareness Drive
Percept partnered with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) to
organize a charity cricket match featuring a Celebrity XI v/s Doctors
XI. The Match was in a T-20 format and helped to raise funds for
CPAA in the fight against Tobacco that leads to cancer.
Percept was the title sponsor for the Charity Match.
Some of the stars that were present included Shailendra Singh, Suniel
Shetty, Vinod Kambli, Sohail Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh,
Milind Soman, Javed Jaffrey, Chetan Hansraj, Cyrus Broacha, Bakhtiyar
Irani amongst others. The Doctors XI was represented by prominent
doctors and surgeons from across the country. |

Two
new Percept OOH media tools in the offing
Percept Out-Of-Home is all set to introduce two new media tools
— ‘Propell’ and ‘Programm’. While
‘Propell’ is a planning and evaluation tool for out-of-home
media, ‘Programm’ is a grading and monitoring tool for
large format outdoor media. All the major clients of Percept OOH
would be able to use these tools. The tools are in the final stages
of commissioning and would be introduced in a few months.

bags the mandate for VLCC Mother's Day campaign
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, VLCC targeted children through
a countrywide contact program, encouraging them to greet their mothers
with VLCC cards and vouchers. PDM bagged the mandate for the on-ground
activation as part of the Mother's Day campaign, following a multi-agency
pitch. The activity involved promoters interacting with children
on an emotional level, talking to them about their mother. The contact
program covered eight cities across India - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata,
Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Chandigarh. |

Indicom Photon+
TATA Indicom and PDM India have set up demo kiosks of TATA Indicom
Photon+ in 121 Café Coffee Day (CCD) outlets across the country.
The new TATA Indicom Photon+ is a wireless broadband service that
promises to be 20 times faster than other wireless services. The
kiosks have been set up in order to communicate the speed and easy
installation of the service. The activations were conducted in several
cities including Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai,
Guwahati and Jammu. |

Fashion Fiesta to Open on Glamorous Note with PDM
Dubai Fashion Fiesta 2009 (DFF 2009) - the official event of Dubai
Summer Surprises 2009 will open on a glamorous note on June 19,
2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Organized by Emirates Vision, in association with PDM, DFF will
see 40 international celebrities and models who will come and infuse
their international charm to 3,000 high profile audiences. The event
which will run for four exciting days will unveil collections of
34 fashion designers - established and emerging - representatives
of the global fashion industry.

PDM recently handled a seven-city dealer road show for Belkin, a
global provider of interconnectivity solutions across computing
and consumer electronic devices. The programme aimed at updating
its valued reseller partners on latest product roadmaps, promotions
and channel support initiatives. The seven city programme touched
Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trivandrum and Cochin.
Belkin showcased its full range of networking, surge, mobile computing
and ipod accessories product lines.
