In a quest to create awareness on Global Warming, Mr. Satish Sikha started “Our Earth - We Will”, a campaign considered as “The World’s Longest Invitation to Fight Global Warming”. The idea consists of collecting words and autographs from world leaders and role models on an organic woven green silk fabric.
Pledging their support to this significant cause, Mr. Harindra Singh, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Percept Limited, and Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited, signed their poignant messages on the green organic silk fabric on Friday, February 26.
Every yard of fabric represents one individual and the steps they will take for a better tomorrow. After collecting signatures from many inspiring people from around the world, each yard of fabric will be sewn into a single piece, representing a long invitation to act now against global warming. It will be taken to schools around the world to create awareness on this vital issue.
