Sunburn Hangover Tour rocks four cities with Micheal Woods
Post the successful completion of Sunburn 2011, the celebrations continued with the Sunburn Hangover Tour, which was headlined by the UK dance / trance music producer Michael Woods. The party began on an exhilarating note and included some of the best and jaw dropping musical remixes by Woods such as Deadmau5, La Roux, Judge Jules, Robyn, Estelle, and Lady Gaga. The crowd at the party rocked the dance floor with the foot tapping musical numbers. The Sunburn Hangover Tour spelled its magic in Hyderabad (opening act – Midnight Traffic) at The Club on Feb 2.
The fashionable city of Delhi witnessed the tour on Feb 3 at Shroom (opening act – Mash). The hub of entertainment and frolic, Mumbai, was rocked by this celebration on Feb 4 at Blue Frog, Mumbai (opening act – Nikhil Chinapa). And last, but certainly not the least, the Sunburn Hangover Tour created some crazy and fun filled moments in the hi-tech city of Bangalore on Feb 5 at F-Bar (opening act – DJ Inferno).

Sunburn Arena 2012 presents the Dash Berlin India Tour
Percept India’s special Sunburn Arena 2012 tour initiated the concept of arena gigs in India with the hottest name in the electronic music space, DJ Dash Berlin. The Sunburn Arena 2012 tour started from 9 February, 2012 at Miami - Pune, followed by Night club – Delhi on 10 February, Polo Club, Mahalakshmi Race Course – Mumbai on 11 February, and E-Zone – Bengaluru on 12 February. While VJ Ramona hosted the events held at Pune, Mumbai & Bengaluru, DJ Rummy hosted the Delhi event. Lost Stories performed all the supporting sets at the Sunburn Arena 2012 tour.
Thousands of EDM fans bounced and moved their bodies on Dash Berlin’s powerful numbers like ‘World Falls Apart’, ‘Better Half of Me’, ‘Till the Sky Falls Down’, ‘Waiting’ & ‘Man on the Run’. The evenings were phenomenal with eclectic mixes that brought together all EDM fans and made them groove to the high octane performances. The Country’s youngest DJ - Shaan made the Mumbai & Bengaluru crowd swing to his tunes.
Monnet Ispat presents ‘Fight Night’ - A Percept Property
Monnet Ispat successfully presented the 3rd edition of ‘Fight Night – A Percept Property and India’s first ever indoor bilateral boxing bouts between the top Indian & Russian boxers. The boxing tournament kick-started on February 5 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Golden Tulip Star, Raipur. Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited is the Presenting Sponsor for this event and has plans to support boxing as a sport on a national basis. Through Fight Night, Monnet hopes to boost the undying spirit of boxing by bridging the gap between the sport and its lovers. Fight Night – 2012 showcases an ideal mix of Sports, Entertainment & Glamour providing a premium experience for the audience. It has been formatted as a 90 minute event with 5 exhibition boxing matches of 3 rounds each. Each bout will be for 3 minutes. The winner selecting process was based on the point system format. After a successful outing in the previous editions of Fight Night, where the Indian Team beat the English & Australians 3-2 & 4-1 respectively, this edition of Fight Night saw the Indian boxers face their toughest challenge as they battled it out with Russia. Eminent boxers like Shiva Thapa, Manoj Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Paramjeet Samota and Manpreet Singh from India and Alikhan Avtarkhanov, Roman Usikov, Lev Cherevko, Dmitry Zaytsev and Irakliy Sharvashidze from Russia participated in this event. The Indian team emerged victorious again with a 4-1 score. Fight Night 2012 witnessed a phenomenal display of talent, grit & sweat, especially with India being considered as an upcoming serious challenger for medals at Olympics 2012 after defeating a strong Russian contingent

“Media Mindprints” was the theme of theSeminar organized by the International School of Business & Media (ISB&M) held on February 10, 2012 at the Management Institute’s vast campus in Pune. Various luminaries from industries spanning Banking, Insurance, Infrastructure, IT, Manufacturing and FMCG’s shared theories and case studies on their domain of expertise with a focus on the challenges faced at work and the importance of the corporate and personal lessons learned therein.
Sangeeta Chacko, Head-Corporate Communications, Percept Limited, spoke about the ‘Dynamix & Trends in the New Age arena of Corporate Communications’. She elaborated on the entire mix that comprised this space inclusive of Internal & External Communications, PR, Reputation & Crisis Management, Change Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Media Marketing. Global and domestic case studies across industries and sectors dominated the interactive presentation culminating with the trends foreseen in 2012-15 and the skills required to tackle these challenges and trends in the forthcoming decade. Sangeeta encouraged the students to innovate, break the mould, constantly work on skill sets, speed and competence, and strive for creative solutions in order to transcend barriers and deliver path-breaking solutions in the corporate world. The case studies and real life stories enlightened and delighted the young crowd which was proven by the applause and feedback received at the end of her address.
In ISB&M’s endeavor to make its students see the vast opportunities present beyond the academic world, Percept’s contribution at this forum in terms of inspiring ‘Gen Next’ was well received by the students and academicians present at the seminar.
A special moment created by ‘One Year Old’ Perceptites – Allied Media
Young Perceptites who are just a year old within the Group are full of exuberance and passion. Brimming with innovation and creativity, 2 young Perceptites from Allied Media - Vaibhav Sumedh Kothari and Hussain Mohammed Ronaq wore T-shirts displaying the message ‘One Year Old but Strong and Bold’ to showcase their pride for Brand Percept. Shripad Kulkarni - CEO, Allied Media and P M Balakrishna – COO, Allied Media introduced these one year old Perceptites to Shailendra Singh – JMD, Percept Limited, who thoroughly enjoyed his meeting with them. He shared his thoughts, passion and views, and recounted some interesting anecdotes and incidents from his life experience.

Percept Tug-of-War Championship 2012
Perceptites gathered together on the P2 terrace in Mumbai on Friday, 17 February, 2012 to slug it out in the ‘Percept Tug-of-War Championship 2012’. The terrace turned into a battlefield even as Perceptites showcased their strength, skill and team spirit at its best. The show of muscle power and determination could give any wrestler or boxer a run for their title.
The highlights of the evening were as follows:
Allied Bulls vs P9 Jumbos – Match won by Allied Bulls
P-OOH Expendables vs PDM Boosters- Match won by P-OOH Expendables
P/H Awesome 8some vs Profile Warriors – Match won by Profile Warriors
Bulldozers (comprising Perceptites from different Group Companies) got a walkover into the Semi-Finals
In the nail biting Semi-Finals P-OOH Expendables won against Allied Bulls, while the Bulldozers team won against the Profile Warriors.
The Grand Finale witnessed 3 thrilling matches between P-OOH Expendables and Bulldozers. The Expendables team won all 3 matches in a row and took home the championship title. Led by Ms. Kavitha, the only female participant in the entire show, P-OOH Expendables remained unbeaten throughout the ‘Tug-of-War’ matches.
The ‘Percept Tug of War Championship 2012’ served as a great platform to bond, network and display great team building skills. All in all, a perfect way to wrap up a Friday evening @ work!
