Percept launches 'Fight Night'
As the exclusive marketing agent of the Indian Boxing Federation (IBF), Percept has recently launched 'Fight Night', India's first ever indoor boxing bouts between top Indian and international boxers. The first 'Fight Night' was held in association with Monnet Ispat & Energy to celebrate the signing of the USD one million sponsorship deal with IBF, which will cover the entire Indian team for three years. In the first exhibition bout, Asian champion Suranjoy Singh won 17-9 against Sanjay Singh and Olympic medal winner Vijender Singh beat Ram Singh by 22-5.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Ltd said, "A large populous nation such as India cannot thrive on a single sport. The quickfire quotient present in the sport of Boxing provides the perfect alternative sport for our audiences. 'Fight Night' will provide the ideal fast paced sporting entertainment option that today's audiences crave for. Percept will ensure that all efforts are made to make Boxing more popular in the country. Winning six Golds at the Commonwealth Boxing Championship and support from corporate such as Monnet only goes to prove that Boxing is the next best thing!"
'Sahara Pune Warriors' unveil a scintillating event
The launch ceremony of Sahara India Pariwar's IPL Team, named 'Sahara Pune Warriors', was a grand affair, with over 25,000 attending at the SP College Ground in Pune. The event, hosted by Bollywood personalities Mahesh Manjrekar and Urmila Matondkar, kicked off with a mind-boggling cultural programme, with 150 dancers and 20 horses onstage. Flags bearing the team name and logo were distributed among the crowd that then took to waving them enthusiastically, creating an awesome sea of white at the ground.
Percept has been instrumental in the entire activation of the 'Sahara Pune Warriors' IPL Team. It was indeed a true 'team Percept' effort, with PDM spearheading the glittering launch; Percept/H handling all creatives including the team logo; and Percept Pictures filming all the action for future TVCs and music videos.
