Percept in association with Monnet Ispat launched India’s first ‘Fight Night - Lagaan Cup
Percept and Monnet Ispat announced an exclusive JV in the form of ‘Fight Night - Lagaan Cup’ to promote and popularize ‘Boxing’ as a sport in India. The new JV & ‘Fight Night – Lagaan Cup’ was launched on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the ITC Grand Central, Mumbai.
‘Fight Night – Lagaan Cup’ is India’s first ever Home Grown Bilateral Indoor Boxing Bouts between Top Indian and International Boxers and will be held all over the country at periodic intervals. The Lagaan Cup will be a 90 minute event with 4 exhibition boxing matches and the Fights will follow international amateur boxing rules as approved by the Indian Boxing Federation (IBF).
The first series of ‘Fight Night - Lagaan Cup’ was hosted at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune on Tuesday, 14th September, 2010. The Bilateral boxing tournament took place between India and UK for the first time in the country with Top Indian pugilists such as Vijender Singh, Jai Bhagwan, Dilbagh Singh, Manpreet and English boxers like Antonio Counihan, Ryan Aston, Frank Buglioni & Daniel Price of England fighting against each other. In the first-of-its kind concept, Indian boxers clinched the bilateral trophy winning three out of four bouts in the second – leg of the series. The Beijing Olympic bronze medallist, Vijender Singh emerged from the blows to clinch the bout as well as the Lagaan Cup for the Indian Team.
Sakaal was the print partner for the ‘Fight Night-Lagaan Cup’ while Star News was the broadcast partner, telecasting the event at 10.30 pm on 14th Sept, as a deferred live telecast. The event was also supported by Siyarams, Hero Honda, XXX Energy Drink and Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited. The online partner to this venture was Cinecurry and Radio City was the Radio partner. Planet Sports was the retail partner.

Percept Talent signed Sushil Kumar as an Exclusive Talent for 5 years, and will strategize and manage Sushil Kumar’s brand endorsements, media activities and media rights, brand and image management, digital rights and licensing and merchandising rights as well and all promotional activities in the arena of wrestling.
India’s first gold medalist at the World Wrestling Championship signed a three-year deal with the National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) as brand ambassador. The deal was arranged by Percept Talent.

Top Corporates of India came together for the 2nd successful season of the ‘Goa Super Sixes’ Cricket Tournament
Leading Corporates across India congregated at the Taj Exotica, Goa, for the 2nd season of the popular ‘Goa Super Sixes’. The tournament held from 24th-27th September 2010 saw eight leading Corporate Cricket Teams across India battling it out for the coveted ‘Goa Super Sixes 2010’ Championship title. Players comprised Business Leaders from the corporate world along with renowned personalities from Bollywood, Cricket, Music and the Fashion world.

Provogue Pashas became the winners of the Beach Cricket (Day 1) match. The semi-finals witnessed the Bombay Bombers battle out XXX Energisers, while the Royal Marathas took on the Pinc Panthers. The GSS finals witnessed a closely contested match between the Pinc Panthers and the XXX Energisers, with the Pinc Panthers bagging the coveted ‘Goa Super Sixes 2010’ Championship trophy.

The ‘Goa Super Sixes’ tournament offered a unique, action-packed, fun-filled version of the game of cricket that combined the participants’ passion for the sport amidst the serene yet festive ambience of Goa. This exclusive corporate cricket property was ideated, conceptualized and executed by PDM India. SportzConsult was the official “Event Partner” and ‘Chivas’ was the official “Spirits Partner” for this Tournament.
The 2nd edition of Percept Brain Mania, a quiz contest, continued for a span of 10 days at the P2 Training Room. The preliminary round kick-started on the September 08, 2010 wherein 15 teams across the group participated in the brain fight.
The top 2 scorers from each batch qualified for the ‘Grand Finale’ which took place on September 17, 2010. There were six finalists in the finals that were all ready to display their brain power. Shazaad Arjani & Harshad Salvi from Percept/H emerged as winners and Percept Profile team comprised of Tanya Desousa, Aastha Bhandari & Vaibhav Singh stood runner up!

AMO celebrated their 10th Anniversary on 9th September, 2010 with fun, food and laughter
AMO Communications celebrated their 10th Anniversary with much fun, pomp and élan.
The celebrations began with a prayer following which the entire team bonded over a delectable lunch. Post lunch, the entire group geared up for an interesting and unique ‘gamestorming’ workshop which was conducted by Elvis Dias, MD, AMO Communications. This interactive session offered a creative platform to elicit everybody’s innermost capabilities through an array of fun filled activities. Four teams comprising of personnel across diverse work disciplines were formed. The session kick-started with a game called ' Current Culture of AMO'. The whole idea was to depict the present feel at AMO through a storyboard using magazine images. The next game ideated on the 'Ideal Culture of AMO'. This was followed by a brain drill titled ‘The Inception Model'. Based on a hexagon shaped model the AMO team had to go about using the concept of 'Enter, Solve, Exit'. This game encouraged lateral thinking and the results were simply amazing! The last game entitled ‘Perspective Drawing’ allowed teams to explore their keen observation skills, as also flaunt their creative skills.
The final surprise of the day was the announcement of a new room called the 'Thinking Room', later rechristened as the “Labour Room”, which has been designed especially for the creative guys. The day wound up with a sneak peak at the new animated viral video on 'AMO', and some delicious snacks.
