Perceptites gather for an ‘Exclusive Screening’ to revive special moments from the ‘Percept Awards and Gala Celebrations 2012’
On August 3, 2012 Perceptites gathered together to catch a special screening of the ‘Precept Awards and Gala Celebrations 2012’ atop the P2 Terrace. All Perceptites joined together to witness the specially created AV featuring fun and nostalgic moments on stage at the Percept Awards and Gala Celebrations.
The action packed, fun evening also witnessed the presence of Mr. Harindra Singh, Mr. Shailendra Singh and Key Management from across the Percept Group. A special AV commemorating Shailendra Singh’s 25 year journey at Percept was the highlight of the evening. The evening culminated with delicious F&B atop the terrace even as Perceptites relived the happy moments at PAC 2012.

Prabhakar Mundkur addresses the ‘Gyan Series’ organised by the Advertising Club
‘The concept of Archetypes can be applied to just about anything in life’ was the topic of an engaging hour-long presentation ‘Archetypes in advertising and beyond’ by Prabhakar Mundkur, Chief Executive Officer, Percept H and one of the influential names in advertising in the country, to the members of the Advertising Club Madras on Friday, August 17, 2012.
Sponsored by The Hindu as part of the Club’s ongoing ‘Gyan Series’ Tea meetings, Mundkur, a veteran Strategic Planner, covered a wide spectrum keeping the audience entertained. He defined the concept of Jungian archetypes, presented the various archetypes (Innocent – Rebel – Hero – Sage etc) and applied the concept to advertising, brands, political career, tarot cards and mysticism, movies, the navarasas and much more. The use of visuals and videos only enriched his presentation. This topic has been a passion for Mundkur for the last 15 years and his research has led him to apply this concept widely and successfully in his business and life.
The session ended with questions from the interactive audience. Mr. R. Seshadri, Executive Committee Member, Advertising Club Madras proposed a Vote of Thanks. Mr. Suresh Srinivasan, Vice President Marketing, The Hindu, presented a memento to the speaker.
Percept Sports & Entertainment organizes ‘A Light Bulb Session’ by Josy Paul, Chairman & National Creative Director BBDO
The Lightbulb Session # 1, part of a knowledge-sharing initiative by Percept Sports & Entertainment kicked off to a spirited and successful start on Friday, 10 August, 2012 with 'Wizard in the Hat', Josy Paul attending as Guest Speaker for the evening.
In his trademark style, he shared learnings of creativity and ideation from everyday life, spiced with anecdotes from his personal life. 'Believe in your creative genius' and 'Go with the Flow' were his two key messages for the eager Perceptites who gathered at the P2 Training Room that evening.
This was the first of a series of monthly sessions, where an accomplished person from the industry was invited to speak to Perceptites and inspire them to achieve new levels of creativity, innovation and heightened standards.

Percept Out Of Home celebrates its Anniversary
Percept Out Of Home celebrated its Anniversary on August 20, 2012. Flowers, cakes and cheer heralded the occasion as all Percept Out of Home personnel gathered to wish each other and partake of the happy occasion. Sanjay Pareek, President – Percept OOH gave an inspiring speech to the team, making a special note of the team’s efforts and commitment towards the organization over the past year. This was followed by the cake cutting ceremony and a group photo opportunity.
