Percept emerges victorious at the ‘Whack-it League 2010’ Tournament

Percept’s very own Bimal Mehta, GM Finance, P9 Integrated & Ritwik Chakraborty, Assistant Manager Media, P9 Integrated won the prestigious Whack-it League 2010 Championship, a Mumbai based inter-agency Badminton and Table Tennis tournament.

The Whack-it League corporate sports tournament was organized by Mail TODAY in an attempt to provide an alternate platform to the popular sport of cricket. The idea was to bring together all creative and media agencies for a healthy, fun-filled afternoon of sports and entertainment.

The tournament kick-started on the morning of 14 August, 2010 at the Juhu Ville Parle Gymkhana Club, Mumbai. An enthusiastic number of participants from Percept and other leading agencies like Mudra, Draft FCB, Starcom, Group M, TBWA / India and Lodestar turning up to get whacky on the court. Percept bagged two trophies as Bimal Mehta and. Ritwik Chakraborty jointly won the Table Tennis : Open Doubles category. Bimal also won the first runner-up prize in the Table Tennis : Men's Singles category.

Kudos to Bimal Mehta and Ritwik Chakraborty on their outstanding victory on the court and making Percept proud.
