"This is my current favourite country at the moment  and I love all of guys for real" - Those were the emotions of the Frenchman DJ Snake. As he drove fans into a frenzy , he ensured no one left with half an appetite - Not only did he bring down his entire repertoire starting from 'Turn Down For What' to 'Lean On' . The crowds who were waiting patiently for the 'Pardon My French' music lovers  kept chanting his name , until the screens went dark and the visuals of Blue came on the screen only to reveal the DJ standing on the console staring onto the thousands waiting in anticipation of that one glimpse . As he started with his set not only did the volumes of the music rise, but so did the voices of the fans who were waiting for hours in line and some since the news of him performing at the festival broke .  The Trap and EDM maestro left an unending, never forgettable impact that  made the time stand still when he played ' Middle' and ' Let Me Love You' , this indeed was what the doctor ordered.

 

Continuing with the hard style format of music which Kyzo ended with , as he truly described him as - "This is My Brother" - The Frenchman brazed through his unconventional set which included his hits including 'Lean on' and 'Let me love you' not before inviting Kyzo on stage to do what's probably not ever been done in the 11 year history of Sunburn - Dividing the Sunburn arena into a Your V/S mine.  This was just a start to an epic performance, to the end DJ SNAKE and KYZO played together wrapping up a memorable evening. DJ SNAKE bid adieu to his Indian fans in desi style as he thanked them by saying " Shukriya" .  All the performances were streamed live on mobile on  Tata Sky do give an undefined experience to all the music lovers.

 

While Snake coaxed his side of the audience to chant his words , he encouraged Kyzo to get his side riled up. The duo managed to gear up to stir up a storm of chants which went to and forth ending up to a Sunburn moment truly worth remembering.

 

This is one of the few moments where DJs have interacted and showed such a sense of being, each complementing the other and the end result being the crowd erupting in a cheer that the city will be hearing for times to come.

 

The night ended with fireworks , but nothing compared to the emotions that were exploding amongst the attendees. They went through  emotions of happiness, a sense of being solo , a time of togetherness and a time of love. It was strange that an artist could bring out all these emotions in a couple of hours as they counted down the hours to return to see the heavyweights including the debut performance of 'Clean Bandits' and be deafened by the beats of our own Raja Baja 'Nucleya' and ending the night with none other than KSHMR who would be putting fans out of their misery of a just a preview and giving them the ultimate SHIVA experience - the Official Sunburn Anthem for 2017 after giving the official anthems for 2015 - Bazaar and 2017 - Mandala .

 

If only this is an indication of what is to follow , Pune, India and all the international fans attending OLA Sunburn 2017 are in for a treat.

 

Apart from the gigs, the music lovers also witnessed some exciting activities, the OLA lounge which was right opposite the main stage - having the best view of all the performances  had got the ATV bikes for the viewers to come and experience the thrill.
