Rubeen Malkani, a commerce graduate from Mumbai University, is a seasoned top management professional with a distinguished career of over 40 years assuming leadership roles in steering entire range of business operations with prestigious organizations. Post his graduation he pursued a Diploma in Marketing Management, Windows and Applications and acquired additional educational degrees viz. SWIFT from NIIT and ACCENT from Bostons Computer Institute.

Rubeen Malkani is a Creative planner with acknowledged strengths in contributing strategic and operational drivers across diverse functional domains including - Strategic Planning, Start-up Ventures, Marketing & Business Development, Commercial & Legal functions, General Management, New Projects, Media Management, and Imports & Exports to achieve corporate objectives. He is capable of defining business mission and mobilising and managing cross-functional resources to achieve business continuity and sustainable growth. Proficient in conceptualising and setting up new business ventures to exploit available market potential, Rubeen has consistently displayed superior analytical, liaison, administrative and communication skills. He has been associated with leading organizations including ASIA Television Network, Zee Music, NEPC Communications, and Nalaco Company Ltd., U.K.

In the year 1998 Rubeen Malkani joined Percept Limited as General Manager – Legal, Commercial & MIS, and later got promoted to Vice President - Commercial & Legal. At Percept he has been instrumental in contributing strategic inputs in commercial and legal domains to achieve functional excellence in tune with global performance standards, streamlining entire procurement, logistics activities and generating substantial cost advantage with the effective application of negotiation skills. He was also instrumental in setting up a live event company and establishing a search and talent company within the Group.

Rubeen Malkani was promoted to the position of Independent Director, Percept Limited in 2012 and is responsible for strategic decisions at the Percept Board level to steer the company into the next growth phase.

He also serves as Director of the Wockhardt Foundation and Member Advisory Board, and works with the Times Foundation along with Wockhardt Hospitals for handling hospitals in Mumbai. He is also Advisor and Consultant to OSEC, the Swiss Government Business Hub which assists Swiss Business Heads to network with leading Business Heads pan India.
